The year of unbreakability
Aerorozvidka Chronicles

When, in mid-February, the inevitability of a major war became apparent, we strangely set the morning of February 24 for the coordination of the team. As a result, it turned out not to be a training meeting at all. DONATE TO THE VICTORY
Beginning Few had the courage to believe in the possibility of a full-scale invasion because a war in the center of Europe in the 21st century sounds like something unthinkable and unreasonable. When this inevitability became apparent in mid-February, we strangely scheduled a team alignment for the morning of February 24. As a result, it turned out not to be a training meeting at all.

We gathered, coordinated, and all this year, we are actively creating and implementing network-centric and robotic capabilities for the security and defense forces of Ukraine so that our joint victory becomes as close as possible.

Since 2014, we have been working on the development of drones, involved in the formation of the Delta situational awareness system, laying the legal basis for important changes in the defense sector, taking experience from allies, and gaining experience in Joint Forces Operation. All this made us stronger and was needed to resist the full-scale invasion of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Situational Centers

Information advantage dictates the combat rhythm

We often repeat that a small Soviet army cannot defeat a large Soviet army. The key to our victory is the transition to network-centric rules of warfare, which provide an advantage over the enemy thanks to complete information awareness, where every soldier can get the information he needs.

And therefore, after February 24, we began to implement a network-centric approach, which includes opening situational centers that provide situational awareness for all security and defense sector representatives.

that integrates and coordinates technical intelligence means and helps conduct joint operations effectively. Information flows there from various sources: stationary cameras, sensors, streams of drones, scouts from the fields, and data from allies. In the situational centers, information is analyzed, processed, and uploaded to the situational awareness system, to which the military, from the branch to the headquarters, has access. (details)

Kyiv Operation

We organized the first situation center in Kyiv within a few days of the start of the full-scale invasion. Interacting with the military-civilian administration of Kyiv, the team of the situation center formed a comprehensive picture of the state of the infrastructure of the city and region. Coordination was also established between checkpoints and patrols to avoid conflicts due to the use of UAVs and the movement of crews near the location of Ukrainian units.

The collected information was used to plan the actions of defenders, establish effective cooperation between various units, and form an operational picture for the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the military-civilian administration of Kyiv.

Deployment of a network of situational centers

After successfully completing the Kyiv Operation, we expanded to other directions. Today, there are nine situational centers in Ukraine, each of which collects information from its direction of the front. Situation centers are in Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rig, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Donbas.

Waging a network-centric war, in which the main advantage over the enemy is achieved precisely in the information component, allows to an increase in the pace of operations, speeds up the management process, and increases the effectiveness of defeating the enemy’s forces.
Our goal is for robots to fight, not people, as the lives of our defenders are priceless! We need drones that scout, storm, and deliver humanitarian aid and various cargoes.

A great example is the R18 octocopter, which can effectively hit the enemy. This means the military does not have to go through mined fields, ambushes, the front line, or behind enemy lines to complete the task. A “bird” can fly there. Meanwhile, the crew will be at a safe distance.

One of our priorities is the robotics of the Ukrainian army, which allows us to remove a person from the battlefield as much as possible, saving his life. And we are not talking only about flying machines – they can be drones that crawl, swim, etc.
Delta Situational Awareness System

Technology decides whose side will have the upper hand

Ukraine has much to be proud of. For example, the Delta situational awareness system was presented to NATO members several times this year alone.

Few people in the world have the experience of building and using such systems in conditions of full-scale war. Developers from the Center for Innovation and Development of Defense Technologies are doing it now.

The system provides a complete understanding of the situation on the battlefield in real time, combines information from various sensors, and can work on any device with an Internet browser.

coordination with other units, secure exchange of information about the location of enemy forces, etc. In particular, chatbots developed by the Ministry of Digital Affairs – “eVorog” and the Security Service of Ukraine – “STOP Russian War” are integrated into Delta.

We fully support this system’s development and active implementation in the Ukrainian army.

2023 is the year of our victory! The full-scale offensive has been going on for a year, and the war waged by the enemy against our country has been going on for 9 years. But it was this year that became a challenge for everyone without exception. It was a year of trials, and we will have to pass many more of them ahead of us. We will remember all those who gave their lives for our future with you!

We have all become stronger this year! Because we are together and strengthened by a single goal – our victory!

Thank you to everyone who joined us – we appreciate your tremendous support. Thank you for every hryvnia and every cent for drones, laptops, and warm food on cold days. Thank you for your advice, help, and cooperation!

Ukraine is the capital of freedom, great people, and an even greater future. This is a place of strength! This is where our hearts beat. Here is the heart of the whole world!

Today we must gather all our strength to make a decisive move so that 2023 becomes the year of victory, and we are the winners! DONATE TO THE VICTORY
